So many absurdities to weigh in on, so little time for snarky political commentary. Such is the life of this card-carrying red writer-speaker-activist with a full-time job and, thankfully!, an uptick in struggle to engage in these days.
I’ve little but contempt for armchair Marxists. You know the type, the sort that pores over every fart and burp of each Marxist thinker, and treats the Communist Manifesto as if it were the Talmud rather than a guide to action. No, socialism is not about the endless reinterpretation of texts, but a science of understanding the world and how to change it.
That in mind, I’ve been quite busy lately and have not had any time to blog. And still don’t. As soon as time allows and inclination strikes, I’ll get back to blogging, but in the meanwhile if you’re in the NY metro area, please join me for the following forums where I’ll be speaking:
