Two Minutes in Cairo

Anyone with a scintilla of humanity must be moved by the Egyptian uprising this past week. For once, people of the Arab world are being humanized on American TV, despite the nattering idiocies of many commentators who understand nothing of the region’s people, history and politics.

My head is buzzing with these dramatic and life-altering events and I thought that this brief, well-edited clip from Cairo makes a powerful statement.

In solidarity and struggle with our Egyptian brothers and sisters!
